The Serial Codex collects only what is needed to send you the origin novelette, premiere announcements, and a short studio note. Nothing more.
What the signup form collects
When you join the pre-launch list we store your email address, an optional name if you provide one, and the consent you give by checking the box. We use this only to deliver what the form promises: the origin novelette in Q4 2026, Episode One of S01 on premiere morning, and at most one studio note per season.
How submissions are protected
Form submissions are verified by Cloudflare Turnstile and stored in Cloudflare D1. To prevent abuse, we record a one-way hashed form of your IP address and your browser's user-agent string at the moment of submission. Your raw IP address is never stored.
Email delivery
Until launch, the pre-launch list is capture-only. When announcements begin, every message will include an unsubscribe link. We will not sell, rent, or share your address with anyone outside the imprint.
Retention and removal
Submissions are kept only as long as they are useful for the pre-launch list and basic abuse review. You can ask for your entry to be removed at any time. If you want us to remember not to re-add your address after a future signup attempt, you can ask us to keep a minimal suppression record instead of deleting the entry outright.
